Okay – so when I heard about the Google shuttles with WiFi and powerjacks, I was jealous!

I live in North Seattle in a fun little neighborhood called Ballard.  We love it there, but the commute to Redmond can be a bit frustrating.  My manager was very understanding – so I have the freedom to work from home or come into work when the traffic has died down.  However, I’m more productive at work, when I'm away from my adorable dogs.

So, I have good news that I am excited to share, since it really has made my day!  Microsoft will be offering WiFi shuttles for their employees who are driving into Redmond every day, starting this month.

Great news for the environment, great news for me and the other employees checking email on their smartphones while on the road, and finally great news for the other drivers.

It was also announced recently, that we will be leasing office space in Seattle for 1,400 employees.  Here's some more information about the new Connector and Seattle offices.

There are so many exciting things happening around here.  Options are good!
