The best resume advice I ever received was in college: your resume is not one size fits all!  When you apply, you should always tailor your resume to the position or company. Research the company, think about their strengths, read the job description carefully, and just get as much information as you can about the position you want. Then, take a look over your resume and make sure you're highlighting the experience that makes you a great fit for the job.

Don't be afraid to make changes to your resume so the recruiter can see just how perfect you are. :-) It takes a little extra time to adapt your resume to each position you apply for, but it's worth it!
