My name is Meghan Peters and I’m the managing editor of JobsBlog. I also publish Microsoft’s monthly Careers Newsletter, collaborate with Gretchen on web-based projects for recruiting and provide general support for recruiters to help them find the best talent out there.

I come from a journalism background and have become a huge fan of social media during the past few years. To me, online forums are a great way for people to connect with and learn from others. Needless to say, my favorite part about JobsBlog is our comment boards. I love to see readers sparking discussion, so keep the opinions coming!

I’m a newbie at Microsoft: I started here in October 2008. Before that, I worked as a copy editor at an English-language newspaper in Beijing and contributed to various Seattle publications including The Seattle Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer and Seattle Weekly while a student at the University of Washington.
